I’ve always been drawn to movement and sports, thanks to parents who encouraged my siblings and me to swim, dance, and tumble since we were in pre-school.  Gymnastics classes at the YMCA eventually led to training 30+ hours a week and competing at a high level. After gymnastics, I focused my energy on intensive ballet training before heading to college.

I was introduced to orthopedic Pilates and orthopedic massage while rehabbing a hip injury. Through that therapy, I found the combination of  Pilates and orthopedic massage to be so effective that I was inspired to leave my software career and become a therapist.  I’ve returned to gymnastics as a coach at West Valley Gymnastics School in Campbell, where I also do massage therapy for the competitive team, and to ballet as a Pilates instructor for the students at Los Gatos Ballet.

I’ve worked with young elite athletes, collegiate and professional athletes and dancers, recreational cyclists and runners, and have great respect for the effort that goes into performing, whether that means finishing your first 5K or training for a spot on a national team.
