Young Athlete Care
As challenging as a young athlete or dancer’s schedule may be, it’s critical to include regular restorative work as part of their training to enable longevity, pain-free movement and to improve performance.
Get ahead of their injuries - regular care should occur before there’s a problem. My goal is to support the athlete’s training by:
Strengthening muscles that are complementary to their sport (and often not addressed by practice or conditioning)
Identifying and correcting imbalances and habits that could lead to injury or persistent pain
Identifying and correcting visual or vestibular deficits that could be impacting their performance or contributing to pain
Improving flexibility and joint stability throughout the body
